Loretta C. Bolin was born in Fort Worth, graduated high school from Northside high and attended Texas Christian University. She retired from Conoco Inc. after 40 years of service, working in the Houston office and later returning to Fort Worth to retire. Her hobbies included oil painting, gardening and world travel. She was preceded in death by her two husbands and had no survivors in her immediate family, so Ms. Bolin made a generous bequest of her estate to the Library Foundation. She directed that the funds be used for the benefit of the Central Library in downtown Fort Worth. Her lasting contribution has funded many educational programs and new materials for all of our Fort Worth neighbors to enjoy.
